Victoria’s Secret ‘So Sexy’ Hair Care

A recent revamping of the Victoria’s Secret Hair Care line has brought forward some fabulous products for all hair types. Previously the line was limited to just a few shampoos and conditioners and even fewer styling products. The new range offers shampoos, conditioners, deep treatments and varying styling products from sheer hair sprays, volumizing mousse, shine serum, shine spray to heat styling products. Have curly hair? There is a curl cream for you, and with the demand for dry shampoo’s for those in between shampoo days, there is even one of those.

Whether your hair is dry, color treated, curly, lacking in volume or sun exposed, there is a product line for you. My hair in particular is color treated and dry so I use the Nourish shampoo and conditioner. A once a week a treatment with the Nourish Moisture Mask is a great treat leaving my hair super soft. Not to mention, I have wavy and frizzy hair that I blow dry straight then smooth out with a flat iron, so I especially love the Smooth, Straight and Silky spray before blow drying. After all of that, a smoothing over with the shine serum or a quick spray of the Brilliant and Glossy Mist and I am set for days of soft, silky and freshly scented hair.

From the nourishing ingredients to the soft, fresh and feminine scent of the collection, I am quite impressed with it all. My hair is scented yet not overwhelmingly so, and I love the body and shine I have. Each of the products have the same scent so no matter which products you are using, the scent compliments each other. Overall I say that this collection is quite note worthy and even better, the price point. Usually priced at 3/$24, these are quite affordable. Great products that deliver with an affordable price range, I’m game for that!

Victoria’s Secret Gilded Garden Holiday Collection

This is the Holiday Collection for the super sexy! If you are one of the ones who don’t’ like the super sweetness of vanilla or the foody gingerbread’s of the Holidays, these are for you. Dazzle them with lasting, festive fragrance and soft, smooth, hydrated skin. The moisture-rich lotion conditions with nourishing Aloe, Oat, and Grapeseed Extracts, plus antioxidant vitamins E and C. Take advantage of the Garden specials; get 3/$24, 5/$30 or 8/$35. I can’t think of any deal as great as these. At these prices you can get several gifts out of one trip. Mix and match the scents for all those special people in your life, show them just how special they are to you!

Enjoy Gilded Ginger Crème; a rich blend of gingerbread, whipped latte and musk. Or Merry Vanilla Twirl is a sweet fusion of crème brulée, vanilla and starfruit. Maybe you like the something a bit more fruity, then Sparkling Sugared Pear is for you; a luscious mix of pear blossom, peach and pink sugar. Comes in body lotion, shimmer body cream, fragrant body mist and shimmer powder.

Angels Heavenly Shimmer Powder

While looking for something to add that touch of “something special” to my holiday look, I ran across this “heavenly” shimmer powder spray! I had actually seen and fallen in love with a similar spray from another line but could not bring myself to pay the big dollar price tag for a spray I’d most likely use just for the holidays! This leaves a luminous mist of golden shimmer on hair and body and is ever so slightly scented with Dream Angel Heavenly. The shimmer is slight, no big chunks of glitter so all you get is a lightly scented mist of luminosity! If you like this one, Victoria’s Secret carries it in most of the scents in their fragrance line. So for the price tag of $25 you get them in all of your favorite scents!

Dream Angels Heavenly Scented Candle

I have been waiting an eternity for the release of this “heavenly” candle. My absolute favorite of all Victoria’s Secret scents, this candle was released sparingly in Heavenly Perfume gift sets. The candle’s were usually small votive sized, which left me burning them for only a few minutes at a time, for fear of burning the candle out too quickly!

Finally, my wish has come true! A Heavenly candle for me to cherish and enjoy, to languish in the creamy scent of Vanilla and Sandalwood. Day in and day out, the smooth scent surrounds me, in a 9.5oz jar for $20 with burning time of 40hrs, oh the joy!

What is your favorite look for a night out on the town?

I love a dark smoky eye with a pale “J-Lo” lip! I think that is sexy on everyone! Right now, I’m loving a smoky eye when done with a black shadow with gold shimmers in it. I just got one from the Christian Siriano Collection for Victoria’s Secret and it’s just stunning!

The other look I absolutely love is a pale complexion and eyes with a true red lip. This works for anytime or any occasion! You can take this from the office to a romantic night out. It’s just a classic look!
