Chanel Hydramax + Active Lip Care

 

Prior to this Chanel had a lip balm that was in a tube like their lipsticks. Not many knew of it, and for reason. It really was less than impressive. And for Chanel this was a rarity! However, with the release of new skin care Chanel has added the Hydramax +Active collection which contains a new lip balm.

Since Hydramax is all about adding moisture, the Hydramax + Active Lip Crème is pure moisture for your lips. It comes in a jar much like the other skin care items, so it falls in esthetically with the elegance of the Chanel skin care collection. But it’s what’s inside that’s most impressive. The lip cream is super hydrating and immediately melts into a butter like texture. It absorbs instantly giving dry, dehydrated lips a big drink of water, instantly relieving lips of flaking and dryness. It has a nice slip and only the slightest bit of shine; wear it alone or under lipstick for a moisturizing base.

With a price tag of $45, this can certainly be classified as a luxury item. But since very little is needed, I’m sure this will last quite some time. I’ve had mine for months and barely making a dent. I’m just afraid that if you try it, you will become addicted!
