Chanel Bikini Peach Glossimer

I wanted to write a quick update of the Bikini Peach glossimer from the Spring Pop-up collection. It was the only glossimer in the collection; the other two glosses were the Aqualumiere glosses. Being one of the top sellers of all glosses industry wide, it’s obvious why. They are long wearing and have great color payoff. This particular one I love because I’ve been looking for a true peachy shade for some time. I find the shade then I don’t like the formulation! So to have the perfect peach shade in my favorite formulation is fantastic. It has a slight shimmer to is, as most of the glossimers do. But it’s not too much to take over your lips with a spotlight of glitter. It has enough pigmentation to wear it alone, over a liner or in my case perfection over the Bondi Aqualumiere lipstick, also from the Summer Pop-up collection. My only heart break is that its limited edition and soon will be gone!

Tom Ford Private Blend Lip Color Collection

Distribution of Tom Ford’s Private Blend lipstick collection will begin on June 1st, 2010. It is already available in the UK so we have heard fabulous reviews. It is formulated with rare and exotic ingredients including soja seed extract, Brazilian murumura butter and chamomile flower oil. The luxurious formula and ultra-creamy texture are blended with specially treated color pigments for smooth application and just the right amount of luminous color. The shades range from nudes to fire red, beginning with twelve shades initially. Locations for the initial distribution will be limited beginning at Bergdorfgoodman and Neiman Marcus, I will update when I have more details.

Currently only available overseas, in Europe and Asia particularly, I am completely enchanted by Donna Karan’s new fragrance. Not only for its enticingly clean scent but for what it stands for. The scent features Vanilla from Uganda, of which part of the proceeds will benefit the women of Uganda to combat poverty and education; and the packaging from inside out are completely sustainable. The whole thing can be recycled after we’ve enjoyed its deliciousness. This is the first perfume in the DKNY family to address the issue of environmental and global issues, so hopefully its success will lead to others.

Dewdrop petal, lotus and Bulgarian rose are the first touch; blending into heart notes of exotic blossoms; finishing off with an intoxicating blend of white amber, sandalwood and vanilla. It’s a mix between a clean scent and a gourmand. Its first impression is not one of a scent named “Pure” as it has more intensity, but it dries down to a creamy, fluid softness. Its global launch began in February 2010, with an anticipated U.S launch around July 2010, but if you must try it sooner; it is currently available on some perfume sites such as become.com and valentineperume.com. Some sites are already sold out so if you want to try this before it hits the U.S market try the sites I listed, they are still available.

philosophy 'amazing grace' and ‘pure grace' perfumed antiperspirant / deodorant

As a long time user of another deodorant; whose name I won’t mention right now. But those that use it know there has not been another like it. Until now. 'amazing grace' and ‘pure grace’ perfumed antiperspirant/deodorant is amazingly clean, beautifully scented with the amazing grace or pure grace scent. Its silky formula is infused with vitamin E and moisturizing agents to soothe underarm skin leaving underarms feeling smooth and soft. However softly scented, it packs a powerful punch of protection, leaves no white residue or those awful balls of deodorant. I don’t know about anyone else, but to me there is nothing worse than wearing a beautiful sleeveless top and lifting your arms to see yucky deodorant residue! Gone, no more, never again! I originally bought this from QVC and during their last airing; I couldn’t order is fast enough before it sold out. That’s how good its ratings are. But now Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com is carrying it, and how happy I was to find that out!
